It is important to ensure that the same property or unit or vehicle is not double booked by different customers for the same dates. To do that the calendars for Trustcom Travel Connections must be linked (Synchronized) to each other platforms where properties are listed. These instructions guides you to sync calendars from Trustcom to the others.
Calendars can easily be synced through the iCal calendar sync functionality. Set up connections between this platform and the others and enjoy peace of mind. iCal connection is a tool used to synchronize multiple calendars together.
For example, when you connect your Airbnb and Trustcom calendars and a guest makes a booking on Airbnb for a particular date, those dates automatically become unavailable on Trustcomtravelconnections.com. If the booking was made via Trustcomtravelconnections.com the dates get blocked out on Airbnb.
How To Find The iCal Link On Airbnb
Follow the steps below to access the link in your Airbnb host dashboard:
- Click on the “Availability” tab on your Airbnb host dashboard
- Scroll down to the sync calendar section
- Click on the “Export Calendar” section to find your property’s individual iCal link for Airbnb.
- Copy the iCal link in the window that opens to sync with other calendars. make sure to copy the link correctly.
- Login to your Trustcom account, My Listings, click the edit button for any of your listings (do repeatedly for each of your listing), click SAVE at the bottom until you reach the last page (iCalendar page) where you see the calendar, under the calendar is Import/Export iCalendar feeds, enter feed name (your name) in the first box, and feed url: (paste the link from step 4 above), then Click Add New Feed, and SAVE.
- Your Trustcom calendar is now synced.

Trustcom Travel Connections platform accepts major debit and credit cards, PAYPAL payments as well as Paypal Express with debit & credit card, and MPESA. You can also accept payment in US Dollars or in Kenyan shilling currencies, whichever is convenient. Client must pay entire amount through the payment methods above before he/she can access the rental property.
Offline or cash payments are a violation of our terms of service and can result in removal from Trustcom. Off-site/cash payments make it harder for us to protect your information and puts you at greater risk of fraud. Do not accept to pay in cash or to be paid in cash.
PAYPAL is available as a Trustcom host payout method. Be sure to connect your existing PayPal account as a payout method by activating your account and adding it to your Trustcom profile as a payment method. When adding, make sure you have entered correctly the email address associated with your PayPal account.
Login to your Trustcom Travel Connections portal, click profile, and enter your (PayPal registered email) under payment methods, and Save. This will direct host payments to your account.
PayPal may require you to verify your account with identification and proof of address. All your funds will be deposited once PayPal has verified your account. PayPal typically delivers the funds to your account within 1 business day.
Other payout options include:
1. MPESA payout to host is through Trustcom Lipa na M-Pesa Till account.
2. The Kenyan M-Pesa system is linked to Sendwave to deliver payouts to host’s M-Pesa mobile phones within seconds.

A booking can be cancelled via the site. Just login to your account to view your bookings history including cancelling an existing booking.
You will need your first name, phone number, username, password, and email address for receiving your login credentials as well as for passwords rests. You are welcome to change your password as often as possible to keep your account secure.
List your home, rental property, or vehicle on Trustcom Travel Connections and become a host.
You can register your vacation rental, no matter if it is a house, an apartment, a studio, a cabin or a car, pick-up, or SUV.
Step 1: Sign up by creating a free account. To sign up, you need a username, password, email address, and phone number entered in the format (+2547———). The email address is useful later when you need to reset your password and also to communicate with customers during booking reservation and to approve reservations or to organize where to meet clients to welcome them to the property.
Step 2: Once you have signed up, you can login to your account and begin by updating your profile.
Step 3: Click “Add New Listing” on the menu and begin by entering your listing one by one. (i) Start with Title such as 1 Bedroom Apartment, 4 Bedroom Villa, 2015 Toyota Allion, which ever applies in your case. (ii) Category – Select the most appropriate. (iii) Listed In – Select the most appropriate. (iv) Guests no – Select. (v) Select City of the property. (vi) Select neighborhood are (optional or other location). (vii) Description – Share information for example where it is and how many guests it can accomodate, things like WIFI, Netflix, parking, attractions in the area, or if it is a vehicle, enter year, make, model, vehicle condition. (viii) At the very bottom of the page, check the “Allow instant booking”, and hit CONTINUE, Then SAVE.
Step 4: Price Tab– Enter listing price in dollars (use Ksh140/Dollar conversion rate). Then, at the bottom under Extra Options, in the box, enter “Trustcom Service Fee“, Value = 7.5, select single Fee, and Add Option, then SAVE.
Step 5: Images – Upload one good picture first. Perhaps an excellent living room or bedroom picture which will be displayed. Then upload the rest one by one. The SAVE. 5 – 8 quality pictures recommended.
Step 6: The next four pages (Details, Map, Amenities, Calendar) you can just read through and SAVE at the bottom of each page to allow you to move to the next.
Step 7: Pending Approval. Once you save at the calendar stage, then we get a notification to approve your listing and publish.
Step 8: Once published, the property is now available for booking online.

Our rooms are usually cheaper than hotels and have the added benefit of private rooms for children or family members as compared to hotels where you have no privacy. Great amenities which are not available with the hotel option.
